Once again, I love the colors Kristina chose for her Color Challenge 15. These colors are right up my alley. I love green and brown together; it’s a beautiful combination. Here’s the inspiration:

And here’s the card I created:

I used Adirondack Dimensional Pearls in lettuce (OK, not celery, but pretty close!). They add a bit of shimmer and dimension. Here’s a closeup:

I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with!
Supplies:
- Certainly celery, chocolate chip, close to cocoa, really rust and whisper white cardstock (Stampin’ Up)
- Always stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
- Chocolate Chip ink pad (Stanpin’ Up)
- Dimensional pearls in lettuce (Adirondack)
- Nestabilities and Cuttlebug
- Brown grosgrain ribbon
- Dimensional adhesives
As a new Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I really want my new customers to know that I appreciate their support. So, with each order, I enclose a little goodie – usually in the form of chocolate. I just made a batch of thank you tags that I’ll tie on some treat bags with Hershey Kisses inside. Cute and delicious!

Supplies:
- Very vanilla cardstock (Stampin’ Up)
- Red cardstock from my stash
- For a Friend hostess stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
- Chocolate Chip ink
- Markers (some Stampin’ Up, some Marvy)
- Offray ribbon
- Corner rounder punch

- Greetings Galore stamp set (Stampin’ Up)

My sister’s birthday is next week and get this – I made a card for her today! Not the night before!
I love this color combination. It really pops.

Hope she likes it too!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. I’m excited that we still have one more day off work!
I had a blast with this color challenge. I love the colors, but even more so, I liked the challenge to make something bold and sassy. Just a few days ago, I bought pewter Offray ribbon that matches basic gray cardstock almost exactly. I’m so happy to use it already.
Here is Kristina’s inspiration this week:
Here’s my take on the challenge:
You can probably tell by the sentiment (?) that I’m a Grey’s Anatomy fan. I chose to stay with the black/gray/white colors and not use Ruby Red and River Rock. This card makes me chuckle when I look at it. Hope it brings a smile to your face too!
Supplies:
- Basic black, basic gray, and whisper white cardstock (Stampin’ Up!)
- Pewter ribbon (Offray)
- Black brad (Stampin’ Up!)
- Adhesive chipboard alphabet (Heidi Swapp)
- White gold glitter (Martha Stewart)
- Heat and stick powder (Stampin’ Up)
I love small 3″ x 3″ cards. They’re so cute and are perfect to accompany a small thank you gift or hostess gift.
Recently I bought three Copic markers and have been dying to use them. On this card, I just colored in the background behind the stamped image, but I love the color and the effect it gives. I can see how people become addicted to these markers – I want more!

Supplies:
- Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, and Bashful Blue cardstock
- For A Friend Stampin’ Up hostess stamp set
- Chocolate Chip ink pad
- YG03 and BG10 Copic sketch markers
- Brown offray ribbon
Sorry for not posting much lately. I seriously do not know where the time goes.
Anyway, I had a very successful workshop last night with a wonderful group of women – many of whom are quilters. So, while preparing for the workshop, I thought I’d finally get my act together and stitch on a card. I’m truly not much of sewer, but this was “sew” easy, that I’m certain to incorporate it into more cards in the future.
The color is a bit off in the photo, but you get the idea. I saw this general card layout recently and cannot remember where.

Supplies:
- Very vanilla, ruby red cardstock
- “Thankful” dots designer paper (Wild Asparagus)
- Curvy Verses stamp set
- Chocolate chip ink pad
- Ribbon
- Brads
- My sewing machine…dusted off!
